McCLELLEN AIR FORCE BASE (StratoTherms vs. paddle fans): Stratos are handling 2,022 sf per unit, 40 ft ceiling height.  Paddle fans are handling 778 sf per unit.  Paddle fans cost twice as must, use about three times as much electricity, and are more expensive to install. EUGENE AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE: Prior to installing the StratoTherms, temperature recovery time was about an hour after opening the doors with temperature at freezing.  It now takes 10-15 minutes�� K.
